Scorpions and Centipedes have become a major problem throughout the Cayman islands in recent titmes. They gain access to your homes through cracks in the walls, climbing the walls to get into the attic or just coming in through open windows doors etc. A scorpion has a stinger in the tail and a centipede will bite you, both will have the intensity of a bee sting allthough it is said that the bite of the centipede is more severe. These pests are active at night when they are hunting for food, and tend to rest in dark humid places during the day.
Control involves thorough treatment of your property, including the attic and also powerspraying the outside perimeters. Several treatments may be necessary before control is achieved.
